Titan offers stucco application. Stucco is made from a mixture of cement, lime and silica that is applied over concrete, wood or metal lath. It is a durable material used to finish both interior and exterior surfaces such as concrete, masonry, particle board and wire mesh, interior gypsum board walls and ceilings, and decorative elements. The texture is applied with a trowel, or sprayed on, and usually requires several layers. It keeps the house cool in the summer, and retains heat in the winter. It resists rot, mildew and mold, and can last over 50 years. It is also fire resistant, can increase the value of your home, and is virtually maintenance free. The benefits of using a texture coating instead of paint to protect your stucco, is that, texture coating will protect against mold and mildew, while allowing the house to “breathe” and release moisture as vapor. Elastomeric coatings such as Stretch Guard and Tex-Cote will seal existing cracks in stucco, and stretch out with the home. As temperature changes make the home swell and contract, the coating provides long term protection against future cracking. In addition, texture coating doesn’t chip like paint, and can be easily cleaned with soap and mild detergent.
